The powerful HP iPAQ hx4700 Pocket PC with high-resolution display is designed for fast, versatile mobile computing both in and out of the office. The 4.0" Transflective VGA color display provides better viewing of documents, images, and web pages in portrait and landscape modes.
Integrated Compact Flash Type II (CF) and Secure Digital (SD) slots provide significant additional storage and functionality, while touchpad navigation with a mouse-like cursor makes navigation simple. Built-in IEEE 802.11b wireless helps you send e-mail and browse the Web no matter where you are, and IrDA and Bluetooth 1.2 make addiing new devices and exchanging information a breeze.
It's all run by the Intel PXA270 624MHz processor and a total of 192MB memory. The 128MB ROM and 64MB RAM have up to 135MB user-available memory, including the 80MB iPAQ File Store, which safeguards data from power loss or device resets. The hx4700 even functions as a high-quality portable audio device, with an integrated microphone and speaker, a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, MP3 support and a 5-band equalizer. Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition for Pocket PC Premium Edition is pre-installed.
