Iogear's wireless printing kit with bluetooth technology allows you to print wirelessly from windows based computers or enabled PDA to a USB or parallel printer. It complies with USB 1.1, Firewire 1284 and Bluetooth 1.1 specifications. It supports data transmission rates of up to 723 Kbps and a wireless access range of up to 66 feet (20 meters).
Iogear Wireless Printing Kit features
The print adapter supports HCRP (Hardcopy Cable Replacement Profile) and SPP (Serial Port Profile), all of which reside on onboard flash memory. The RF circuitry on the RF chip includes complete receiver and transmitter functions. It supports Windows-based computers and PDAs.
The USB adapter allows any computer with USB connections to become a Bluetooth-enabled computer, and communicate with other Bluetooth enabled-computers and devices without cable connections. It complies with Bluetooth 1.2 and USB 1.1 specifications, and provides users with a 723 Kbps data rate at ranges up to 66 feet. It also enables wireless Personal Area Network (PAN) connectivity to Bluetooth-enabled devices such as PDAs, printers, cellular phones, computers, etc.

The capability to turn a regular printer into a wireless printer is a good thing… For the majority of the time that I tested it, it worked flawlessly providing wireless printing capabilities. The actual printer adapter will and does connect nicely with other Bluetooth devices (not just the Iogear branded USB adapter) so Bluetooth PDA users should easily be able to print as well.
